ExchangeRebel Launches Pay-Per-Call SEC Form 4 Insider Transactions API for AI Agents
CANADA — October 22, 2026 — ExchangeRebel today launched a pay-per-call API that gives AI agents direct access to SEC Form 4 insider transaction data: 66,004 transactions from 23,266 filings across 431 issuers, filed through October 22, 2026, and sourced from the SEC's EDGAR system.
Query — insider transactions matched to the caller's request
Changes-since — what has been filed since a timestamp the caller supplies
Pre-check, schema & health — confirm exactly what a paid call covers before paying
Form 4 filings are where company insiders — officers, directors, and significant shareholders — report their buys and sells. The data is public, but in raw EDGAR form it is scattered across individual filings that an agent must find, parse, and reconcile before it can answer a simple question, such as which insiders have been buying a given stock.
The new service, at exchangerebel.com/toll/insiders, answers in two calls. A query call (US$0.005) returns insider transactions matched to the caller's request. A changes-since call (US$0.01) returns what has been filed since a timestamp the caller supplies. Both are paid per call via x402 on Solana — no account, no subscription, no API key. Before paying, any caller can use the free pre-check, schema, and health endpoints to confirm exactly what a paid call covers; every paid answer states what the payment includes and carries the data's as-of date.
The data's limits are stated as plainly as its size. One future-dated filing found in the source data sits in quarantine and is not served; the served set is the 66,004 transactions counted above, and the free pre-check reports the same figures.
Before launch, both paid endpoints were exercised end to end with real, settled payments. Those settle-proofs were test payments made by ExchangeRebel's own operator from his own wallet: they prove the payment rail works, and they are not customer purchases — ExchangeRebel claims no external revenue from them.
“Agents should be able to buy one fact at a time, check it free before they pay, and know exactly what the payment included. That’s what we built,” said the Founder of ExchangeRebel.
The Form 4 service is the 57th service in the ExchangeRebel fleet, which now offers 173 paid operations and 180 MCP tools, all in the same shape: a free pre-check before payment, a per-call price, and an answer that states what the payment included. Agents can find the service through ExchangeRebel's public discovery surfaces — openapi.json, llms.txt, and agents.json — without signing up for anything.
